How long does it take to build a site?

Once we have all the content (text and images), it should usually take 3-5 working days for us to design and build a typical, small scale website. The most time consuming phase of any web project is collecting and writing the content.

What do your websites cost?

Our prices depend on a few factors. To get a better idea of the cost of what you need we recommend requesting a quote and free consultation. This involves a quick telephone discussion where we will ask a few questions about your project , what features and interactivity you’ll need, who will handle content development, whether or not you’d like to sell online. After this short discussion, we should be able to give you a ball park number. If you’re still interested, we’ll be happy to develop a comprehensive proposal that outlines the scope, process and costs.

Do I need to get website hosting?

Not necessarily. We can help select and configure a third party hosting service for your WordPress website. If you do have website hosting though, it’s no problem to host a new WordPress site there. However, with Squarespace websites, the hosting is built in to their platform and can’t be hosted elsewhere. As we are a Squarespace Circle member our clients will receive a 20% discount on Squarespace hosting plans.

What are your payment terms?

A typical website project starts with a 50% deposit. Once we have completed and fulfilled our scope, the final 50% is collected and your website is then scheduled for launch.

Will I be able to make changes to the site after it is completed?

Yes. We use WordPress and Squarespace to build our sites and this powerful content management system allows anyone with good computer skills to make changes to their own website. We always remain available to make changes for you, if you don’t have time or you need more complex changes.

Can you help me update my existing website that another web firm built?

Yes, we currently work with WordPress and Squarespace websites. So if your site is built there we can offer 24/7 specialist support and regular maintenance.

Can you help me write content for my website?

Yes. We can include copy writing and editing in our proposals. We also build your sitemap and help structure the foundation of your website in the planning stages.

Can you help me source photos for my website?

Yes. We will help you source free or paid images. We also have photographers and videographers available to produce custom photography and videos your website, social media or YouTube.
